A decade succeeding his heroic defeat of the dreadful Kraken, Perseus-the demigod son of Zeus-is attempting to live a quieter life at the same time that a village fisherman and the one parent to his 10-year long-cultivated son, Helius. Meanwhile, a struggle on the side of supremacy rages between the gods and the Titans. Dangerously weakened through humanity's lack of devotion, the gods are losing control of the imprisoned Titans and their ruthless leader, Kronos, father of the protracted-ruling brothers Zeus, Hades and Poseidon. The triumvirate had overthrown their forceful father long ago, leaving him to decompose in the gloomy abyss of Tartarus, a donjon-keep that lies deep within the hollow underworld. Perseus cannot ignore his upright calling when Hades, along with Zeus' profoundly good son, Ares (Edgar Ramirez), switch fidelity and make a deal with Kronos to making prisoner Zeus. The Titans' strength grows stronger taken in the character of Zeus' remaining godly powers are siphoned, and infernal regions is unleashed on earth.
